Memoir 2

            I couldn't wait to go to South Dakota. We have been planning to go on this adventure for ages. One of the things I wanted to see was the land that's unique of all, the Badlands.
            When we finally got there after the never ending  car ride, we could see the Badlands welcoming us to South Dakota. It was an adventure to remember, we hiked a little while and took a mammoth load of pictures. After seeing the Badlands we saw many other things too. I can't wait to go back to South Dakota again to see more and the Badlands welcoming us to South Dakota again.

FLIPPED

 In this book there are two main characters, Julianna and Bryce. Julianna has brown hair and eyes, and is very tall. Bryce is tall has brown hair and blue eyes. Julianna and Bryce's personality are different. Julianna stands up for what she believes in, because she didn't want a tree to get cut down so she stayed in it. Bryce is terrified of climbing trees,he even admits it in the book. Julianna never gives up. When she met Bryce, she wanted him to be her friend and she wanted it so bad she even followed him into his house. Bryce   was going to stand up for the tree, but he thought no one would join him. Some other things about the characters is that Julianna is an animal lover, for a science project she did a whole thing about chickens and she kept and raised the chickens. Also Julianna loves soccer. Bryce doesn't have any pets and is terrified of snakes. He went to Julianna's house one time and her brother's have a snake and he got so sick when he watched the snake eat a mouse. Bryce has one sister. Julianna as two brothers, chickens, a dog, and a snake. Bryce's grandfather lives with him and is good friends with Julianna. Julianna is not afraid to go for something she wants. Like when she wanted to make the yard better looking she sent a whole week on fixing it up,that's what I call determination!Julianna was my favorite character because she has a confident, speak your mind, nothings going to get in my way attitude.   
          
           This book was amazing to read. I stayed up late reading this book, I just couldn't put it down. I also wanted to keep reading it over and over again ( but I didn't ). At first it was a little slow but then it progressively got better. It started getting good around chapter five. The only thing I disliked was that the book had a cliff hanger ending, I wanted the book to keep going. I would definitely recommend this book to anybody who likes teen books about other teens. There's a little bit of romance in it, like at the very last chapter. The book is basically about what every teenager goes through crushes, fights, not knowing what to do with their life, going through phases, and more. There is also a little bit of drama in this book, but not a whole lot. If you like all of this, well this book is for you. Trust me, you'll love it.
